Château Whispers & Rainy Vows
Some weddings just stay with you — not because of a big spectacle, but because of how effortlessly everything feels real. A & B’s was one of those. In June, they brought their closest friends and family from the U.S. all the way to Château de Briat, a quiet gem tucked among the trees and vines of Mauvezin-d'Armagnac. The château felt like something out of a story: wooden floors that creak softly underfoot, shelves lined with timeworn books, and the smell of old paper lingering in the air.
What I loved most about this wedding wasn’t just the fairytale setting (though let’s be honest — that château is something else) — it was the ease between everyone, the laughter echoing through walls, the feeling that this moment was exactly what it was meant to be.
These kinds of weddings remind me how powerful small gatherings can be. When there’s room to breathe, to feel, to be fully there — that’s when the good stuff happens.
It was a real joy to witness A & B step into this next chapter surrounded by so much love.
